With over 39 years of experience in nursing, Arlyn Alvior-Guese, BSN-RN, CDP, DNS-CT joined myPotential at Home Maryland as Director of Clinical Services. Before joining myPotential at Home, she served as Director of Nursing at Orchard Woods Health Center at The Village at Orchard Ridge. Prior to serving in this position, Arlyn was a charge nurse, clinical instructor and nurse manager that included supervision of a 500-bed Kuwaiti hospital during the first Gulf War (Desert Storm). She has provided quality patient care in various areas including telemetry, critical care, pediatrics, medical-surgical, out-patient surgery, education, long term care and dementia, sub-acute rehabilitation, hospice and home care/home support. Arlyn is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and was a National State Scholar of the Department of Education in the Philippines.
Arlyn graduated from St. Paul University in the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has also completed credits towards her M.A. in Education Major in Management from the University of Negros Occidental Recoletos, also located in the Philippines. Arlyn is originally from the Philippines and has resided in Derwood, Md. for the past 25 years with her husband.
